Tramore Beach
This shot overlooks a well known local landmark called the Metal Man. The stunning depth to it makes it the favourite of the photographer's entire collection. It has an almost spiritual quality that instantly captivates the viewer.

Sunrise over the River Suir

Taken on the banks of the River Suir, it's vivid colours are evocative of a more turbulent time in Irish history. And particularly reminded the photographer of the viking invasion of Ireland in 795. Sailing right past this spot, under cover of darkness they landed in Waterford less than a mile upstream.

Hook Lighthouse Landscape
Hook Lighthouse located at the tip of Hook Head. Built in the year 1172, this lighthouse is the oldest working example in Europe. Until the 16th century it was used as a monastery. It is one of my favourite locations.

Biography / Contact Details:
Email Jo Lewis

"As a 28 year old female photographer originally from England, I moved to Ireland to be closer to my relatives. I have spent years acquiring this deeply personal portfolio of the local area.

Most of my work is done without the use of colour changing filters. Because of this often the window for taking shots is very brief indeed, a matter of minutes in fact. Breathtaking Irish scenery is all around us, but good light opportunities are rare. Thus making the series all the more unique. This therefore should be of interest to anyone in love with Ireland and her unforgettable countryside.

All materials used are of the highest standard of quality. As a limited edition, there are only 20 copies of each photograph in the World, all are numbered and signed by me"
