"After graduating from the Limerick School of Art in the mid-seventies, I spent many years teaching Art and Ceramics, mostly in Dublin. In 1993 I left Dublin to establish my Pottery at Glencairn in Tallow Co.Waterford where I also run pottery courses with my partner Joan., in a beautifully restored 19th Century barn.

In 1998 I launched my saltglazed ceramics at the studio. I have had several solo and group exhibitions since then and have featured in "Ceramics review", an international ceramics magazine.

I am a member of the crafts council of Ireland and of Irish Contemporary Ceramics. In 2001 I became a founder member of the Irish Wood/Salt Fire potters group.
